Dried dill is a fragrant herb that adds flavor to many of our traditional dishes. In some regions, dill is included in the herb mix for Ghormeh Sabzi, and it’s an essential ingredient in dishes like potato rice, sabzi polow with fish, baghali polow, and basically any herb-infused rice dish.
Besides that, it’s a delicious addition to herb mixes for dolmeh, or in any food wrapped in dough or bread, like sambouseh or meat pastries, if you want to add some herbs. Dill not only gives food a wonderful aroma but also adds a hint of freshness to rice, perfectly complementing the color of the spices and enhancing the overall appeal.
You can also use dried dill in stews, kuku, cutlets, meatballs, vavishka, and even salads as a seasoning.
