Shirin Polo is a traditional dish which literally translates to bejeweled rice. Well, of course we don’t mean diamonds and rubies but let me tell you there are equivalents for those in the food world! They are shredded almond, shredded orange peel, shredded pistachio and barberries. Basically, after stir-frying, you just add it to your rice just like a topping and let color and taste do their magic!
