A recipe full of chlorophyll
You must have seen many advertisements for chlorophyll drops these days. This green liquid makes the skin, liver, and digestive system healthy and prevents the growth of cancer cells.
You must know that we in the Tavazo group recommend the consumption of natural ingredients and the supply of nutrients and vitamins through food. A healthy food is always a priority, and then if necessary, we go to the supplements! Today we introduce you a salad full of beautiful and natural green color, which is rich in chlorophyll, fiber, a lot of vitamins, and many minerals.
Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in cyanobacteria, algae and plants. This pigment plays an important role in converting light into energy. Since humans and animals obtain a large part of their food sources from plants, it can be said that photosynthesis is the source of life in the ecosystem.
To prepare green salad, we need these ingredients:
- Broccoli
- Cucumber
- Lettuce
- Spinach
You can replace these vegetables with any green vegetables you like.
Now let’s go to the sauce:
- 2 spoons of pistachio butter
- A third of a cup of fresh lemon juice
- A third of a cup of olive oil
- Salt and pepper
- A few fresh parsley sprigs
Put the ingredients in a blender until completely smooth. You can use a little water to dilute it.
There are two important points here:
100% pistachio butter and hazelnut butter can be used in all kinds of recipes apart from breakfast and snacks, because they are completely pure. Here we used it as a sauce and it tastes great!
Chlorophyll is very easily absorbed through daily food and does not need a supplement. So it is better to use safe methods and avoid taking supplements without a doctor’s recommendation.
